Simply put: NO. I have a Wii and used t o play it fairly regularly but found that the console was lacking something at nearly all times, FRIENDS. If you buy the console to play any game on your own then you will find that it isn't a good investment but a boring one and one that feels stale before you even realise what's wrong.

With friends, the console comes into it's own, but how many people buy a game to wait for a few mates to come over and play it with them?
If Ninty had sorted the on-line multi-play out then the console may have been a great little bargain, but as they haven't then I feel they may have alienated the majority of gamers that take any sort of game a little seriously.
