i gave it an 8. There's alot of room for improvement for next year, and the patch really cleared up 99% of the lagginess/glitchiness of the game. While I'm starting to believe The Show might look a bit better after playing it more on my roommates PS3, I still find myself bored 4 or 5 innings into it just because it's basically button-mashing. I like the new system of pitching/throwing that 2k8 has established. Hopefully next year there will be some sort of happy medium between the 2 games on the 360, but for now, I'm fine playing 2k8 as I have been for about the past month.
