I'm guessing that he means a quick 1000g for cheap.

But to be honest, the best way of getting loads of gamer points is to rent a bunch of games, give them a try and you might even find that you like more styles of games than you realised.

I have done this and it has opened my eyes towards many games that I thought I really wanted, when in reality I didn't actually enjoy them that much.
