[Lethal_NFS]

The project is in progress now and I am giving step by step pictures of whats going on. The other thread was closed because it was cluttered and I forgot to reserve a few spots for pictures.

Day 1

I got the console in the mail today and took that bad boy apart. I used my hair dryer trick to preserve the warranty sticker just in case. I took a before picture so I can show a before and after.





Here I replaced the stock fans with blue Talismoon Whisper fans (4pin). I also replaced the RF board with a custom board which has blue smd lights instead of green. (I already had the RF board with blue lights)



I am currently waiting for the blue cathode lights to be delivered from divineo.com. Once I get those I will be soldering them to the board. I will provide pictures of course.
Next I will be sketching the design on the case.


DAY 2

Started cutting today and wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to do with the flame.



After cutting out the inside of the eye I wanted to make it look more like the picture so I carved in the eye lashes and such. The carved parts will be painted more to match the actual TOOL picture.



This picture is after a little bit of sanding. There is still much more sanding and work to be done.



The pieces still connected to the case will be cut off. They are there to help me cut the case and sand the pieces. Plexiglass will eventually hold the separate pieces in place.
