Thanks for the pointers Jimmy.
The simple fact that cars get damaged in Forza is the pinnacle make-weight of the decision to switch; that's a realism I'm craving.

I've just finished GT4 recently, 100%, all gold licenses (been at that one since the game was released), collected all the cars.
Apparently GT5 will be "Just another GT" - shiny and new and gorgeous to look at, yet anal and boring and yawnsome.

I want to race around a course with my heart pounding in case I slam into a wall and wreck my "Baby" - dodging other cars for fear of putting each other out.

In GT you can actually use other cars as brakes if you so desire.
Destroys the realism.
