Help with telnet to router...
Overall Problem Description:
I have two Xbox 360's hooked up to my wired router (TRENDnet TW100-S4W1CA version "E"). My Xbox 360 which is port forwarded via DMZ and the other manual (i.e. UDP 88 -> xxx.xxx.x.xxx). For some reason they get confused and the first box that is turned on gets an Open NAT type. The second, strick or moderate. I read and read but could find no solution to my problem. Thing is UPnP needs to be disabled in order for both box's to have an Open NAT type.
Current Problem:
I have tried using command prompt to telnet to my router, but it refuses and gives me a connection error about connecting to host through port 23. Now I read some more and found out that the port could be closed. I also have tried PuTTY which won't work either. I need to telnet to my router to disable UPnP because for some odd reason this version of the router doesn't give an option to enable or disable the UPnP in the firmware. Can anyone help me out
