As far as I'm concerned, GTA is GTA...Looking at the bigger picture I don't see any change, just progress.
Sure on a whim to one side or the other some people might have a favorite, but I think ever since GTA 3 it's been like a world-wide holiday each time a GTA game is released.
I guess the game being "next-gen" and all might be a big step forward (obviously through natural evolution) as was GTA 3... and one thing that's been annoying me is, a lot of people are saying IV doesn't "look" next-gen etc...I think they nailed the next-gen feeling incredibly in the most stylish way I've seen so far.
