The things you've named to be able to do in San Andreas were just unnecessary and quite boring at times. Although I will admit that the 'sandbox' feature of the GTA series is a bit sparse in number 4.
Nonetheless, great gameplay, great graphics, great physics, great characters and story = Greater game.

and i too love the realistic approach they brought to this one, i love the driving man its so fun
i love the ferrire (sp i know) style cars
i think the addiction level for this gta is far better then when sa first game out.. even this weekend wen i stopped round a m8s i kept randomly thinking bout gta lol
