Well the Monster ones have better shielding, that's about it. I noticed a slight difference in sharpness on about a 100" image. Worth it? Perhaps if you have a huge image.
If you want an HDMI cable or an optical cable, I recommend only monoprice.com. You cannot beat their prices and their quality is top notch.
