Is there an adaptor I can buy to go from the A/V output port on the back to let me hook up the HDMI cable?

or

The component cable I can buy for HD (The Green, Blue, Red ones), will they still let me play in HD up to 1080p?

If the latter of those two options is the most cost effective/practicle, I will just sell the HDMI Cable to a friend to recoup my losses, but I'd like to know what you guys think. I'm not really a big time gamer, I only play sports games so I'm not to sure on all the tech stuff, lol, I'll leave that to the experts.

Thanks a lot guys.

Like they all said, not much difference. If you are fixed on buying an adapter, I think gamestop has them for $50 - $60.

it plugs into your componet area and lets you run an HDMI...
