Don't worry about the carbs. I eat rice at almost every meal. Just make it either steamed rice or wild rice. The only thing I stopped eating was sweets and I cut back on alcohol a bit. Other than that 4 or 5 snack sized meals a day was perfect for my metabolism. You could be different though. But, yeah, if you burn more calories then you take in you're gonna lose weight.
