What the hell dose it matter your getting new tech for half the price blueray DvD Player new is £1000 and ps3 is half that ... so your getting a high def DvD player and a console for half that... Everything with new tech is expensive when it first comes out and then the prices start to drop... I remember about 10 years ago when LCD t.vs came out they were like £10.000 now you can get them for £700 for a semi decent one.

umm your not getting a High Def DVD player with your PS3, your getting a high def "BLU-RAY"(note that there is no E). You will have a High Def DVD with your 360.
Why would you want a blu ray player right now anyways, you have no clue that this is gonna leading format for films in the future.
