New Policy - RE: disciplinary action

As has been well established and documented, I am not a big fan of perma banning the member base except in the most extreme cases.

That said, I am not giving any green lights on anarchy in the streets.

If you act like a miscreant or do something bad, you can expect me to -or one of the mod team - to give you a warning via PM system. If the warning proves ineffective, you could be looking at a ban situation.

While I won't generally perma ban members, I will temp ban. If you become a chronic headache for me, you will also find yourself a member of my brand new usergroup called 'Probates'.

Probates are not allowed sigs and may find themselves unable to access certain threads/forums or features of the site. More importantly, Probate's posts will not go live without their comment being approved by admin or a moderator.

Moral of the story is - don't be a pain in my butt and I won't have to return the favor. If you are asked to tone it down or chill a bit in a thread, it would be wise to do so.

I believe you will notice - if you haven't already - that I am a pretty easy going admin and a bit more liberal in my views of what is and isn't appropriate than what you may have been used to in the past. That said, there are lines you can't cross. So, if you are asked to take it down a notch or two... please do and we won't have any issues whatsoever.
