It takes two startups on my Xbox 360 before I get a picture or audio on my tv. I wait about 5 seconds before I turn it on the 2nd time. I need to do this every time I turn it on for the first time that day. The 360 is about 3 months old, is kept in a cool basement, always fully ventilated, and is played at most twice a week for about 3 hours each time. Also, I'm using component cables, but do not utilize the HDTV switch as my tv is not compatible. I don't know if it's going to lead to something more severe.
