Anyone else having trouble with Dead Rising?

I just bought Dead Rising again, and went to play through it again. Problem is, whenever I save, if I try to load, the game gets stuck on the loading screen. Kind of like Oblivion seemed to do for so many people. The funny thing is, I never had any trouble with Oblivion or Dead Rising. Is anyone else having trouble getting their Dead Rising to load saved games? I can go anywhere in the entire mall without problems, if I start a new game. But if I save, and try to load, it won't get past the loading screen.

Maybe its your disc. I have never heard of this problem with Dead Rising.

If you can try getting a new disc. I doubt there is anyhting wrong with your xbox; it's most likely the disc.

Weird. I guess I could take it back to Gamestop and try to get another one. This one's in perfect condition out side a few tiny scratches from it apparently being packaged carelessly. It's a brand new, Plantinum Hits, copy of Dead Rising. Still just a few scratches could do it I suppose.

Update: Got another copy of the game, same problem comes up. I called up MS, they told me to try deleting my 360 HDD's cache. I did it, still didn't help. They said my only other option to get it working properly is to reformat my HDD. That's not happening, I'm not losing all my saves. So I guess I'm just gonna have to give up on Dead Rising for the time being.

IT might be an update that you downloaded. If you don't care, try downloading a DLC from the marketplace for this game. Maybe that will change something. I got an update for Vegas a while back and it prevented me from playing the game for 1 month, then when an update came out I was able to play again.

I downloaded the Man in Black outfit, and still no luck. Hopefully they come up with an update sooner or later to fix my problem, so I'll keep it around. Until then I guess it's time to go back to switching between Halo 3, and whatever I've currently got rented, hopefully Skate.
