Oh, what's that VBhack that pisses off a bad member? I remember one of the mods pointing it out about 6 months ago. When an evil member clicks on a thread in the forum it only goes to the correct thread maybe 4/10 times. The rest of the time it will take him somewhere completely different or give him a false server time-out!
I reckon that hack would be an awesome alternative! Don't ban them, or probate them (creates more work for you), just piss them off! Haha!

That sounds confusing..
For example:

Make sense?

I don't really like that idea. I saw it done on the Epic games forum. I got in trouble twice and got permabanned. It was pretty stupid.

it sounds good to me... this is what the members kind of needed. For a while it seemed like the forum was in a bit of a free fall but i guess you needed time to sort out the details.

I would assume that it's mods and admins who must click the link and assign the infraction? So, in other words, if they don't bother assigning infractions, nothing would happen? Or vice versa, they could assign infractions repeatedly to a member until the person was banned?

Yeah, it would just be the same system already in place, but those little yellow and red cards would actually work!

pparks that sounds a bit negative mate, im sure the MODs will apporach all situations with the same level of professionalism that you displayed and any infraction of the rules would be penalised. And im sure the admin would step in if a MOD was abusing thier power

I think this is one step that remains to be seen. It's not immediately beneficial to members like the other features, and it has the potential to be abused by a biased mod or admin. But then, everything has that potential when you give a member the ban-hammer.
I'm keeping my thoughts reserved until I've seen it in action for a while.
