Nice rules, but there should be one that says something like all posts need to be in English which are understandable to read (ie no l33t speak etc)...

Good catch. Yes this was a slightly modified version of the rules I made for one of our Halo forums -- I like things to be consistent (plus it took a long time to make the first time).

That aside, these are the rules. And they most certainly will apply -- especially to the treehouse.

You are allowed to go offtopic in the treehouse. Certainly. That's what it's for.

And of course you can drop links to an mp3 player or something.

None of the above are problems. Racial/sexist/vulgar language is a problem.

To that point, (I have clarified this in a post in the mod forum too).... I don't mind some language. Somebody drops an f-bomb here or there or says 'shit' -- i completely don't care.

What isn't cool is a lot of the just graphic vulgarity that has -to this point - been allowed to slide.
