The stats tab in your profile keeps a total number. I can't make it display time periods for you, but you can kind of monitor it there.
I'll update a leader board of some sort on the 21st and the 28th

Wait, so what exactly are refferals, is that some like you do something good and the member likes you, he fills out a refferal kind of like to apreciate your doings?

Its when new members sign up, they put your username down as a referral. Its a recruiting members kind of thing.
