China I got mine on. I had to face a MMG and I just pretty much sprayed with my MP5 the whole time at the MMG and kept up the aggro.

I think this is done to ensure no lag when you are playing co-op?

They should have locked it to cities then, because the lag I've had so far is terrible.

Sam. You're reading wrong.

I don't mean actual game disc is region locked, of course it is, ours is PAL, theres is NTSC.

But, I mean, the online is reigon locked, so, you can only play with people from your region.

And I haven't had much lag to be honest.

Ok, if this is posted just close it. I didn't even look...

Ea: Army of Two Has Region Protected Multiplayer

Quote:
When Army of Two launched with decent reviews, we thought all was well in the world of mercenary combat simulation. But none of us expected the game to ship with region-locked multiplayer. Apparently, European Xbox 360 owners are unable to play he game with their US friends. Originally outed by gamers, the PAL Xbox 360 manual confirms the rumor:

The online game modes in Army of Two are not cross region compatible and is only supported between PAL discs.

An EA developer on the official EA forum speculates that the choice was made to reduce server loads (no word yet if PAL PS3s are similarly inflicted). Needless to say, it's an unpublicized annoyance that we hope does not become a pattern.

Guys, i heard it was region locked because some countries in europe have laws regarding game content. Not really shure bout that as its the only game i know of that does this.
I will not purchase another EA game if they keep this up...And the game is sub standard at best...

Hey Sam, the best way I found to get Fear is the Mind Killer achievement is on the level in that secret military base (think it's Iraq...) there's a MMG at the entrance, if you use this to keep the aggro off your partner they throw a beacon in a bunker which is promptly bombed, during this I got the achievement.
