How to unlock PRO difficulty level?

I completed all the missions at the easiest level with my friend in splitscreen co-op mode. For some reason the pro-mode never unlucked. I've never played the single player mode.

Should it unlock? If not, how can I unlock it without having to play the game in single player mode?

thats odd it should do. I unlocked it after compleating it witha friend. I did the first 3 lvls on contractor then as my mate did nothing but get me killed (hes a bit of a scope when it comes to tactics) we did the alst few lvls on recruit. This unlocked pro for me which i went through single player on.

U gotta complete the game, either with AI or partner ( online or not) don't really matter. At least 1 of the levels has to be completed thats not on the easiest level. Thats why it worked for one of ya and not the other

why would you need to complete at least ONE lvl on contractor lol. Odd

Ah, you mean we gotta play one mission at contractor level? That sounds quite weird to me too.

Im having problems with obtaining achievements on this game, i.e 75 kills in stealth mode (overkill) and completion as single player, and 100 kills in overkill.

I deleted the cache on my xbox and soon managed to get the stealth mode achievement. but the 100 overkill and single player remain unlockable.

there is a serious problem with this game, ive have now completed three times and count my kills evertime, this should now be unlocked.

Im in the process of trying for the billion online and get around 4-8 million per match so i f**king hope that unlocks when i get there!!

You gotta beat on contractor (sp?) mode not recruit and you have to be in contractor mode to obtain the achievements for completing each mission.

actually the mission achievements have to be on contractor or pro.

Completing the game on any difficuty unlocks all primary weapons and unlocks pro difficulty though.

im not sure what difficulty for the ai ally though. I did that on pro so i havnt tested on recruit

I have now played all the missions in recruit level and two first missions in contract level, all in splitscreen co-op mode with a friend. BUT the pro level is still locked. I'm starting to get frustrated cos I wouldn't wanna play it through at contract, I want it pro.

Also, I don't understand this talk about locked weapons. I didn't really notice any weapons being locked... or are they HIDDEN until being unlocked? Tell me a name of a gun or two that had to be unlocked.
