Worth it?

Is this game worth buying? I played the demo and co-op was fun but is the game short? Online good? Stuff like that. I'm thinking about buying it and would love some reviews. Please be serious. No "this game sucks!" type comments. thanks

yeah, I have been wondering this too, only I have been wondering if this game is good if I plan to play along an AI partner...though I have been told it really isnt

I have owned this game for a few months now, and I bought it with the sole purpose of playing the campaign with a friend of mine. We have NOT played any multi-player matches yet. So far we have put about 6 - 8 hours co-op time into the game (we play it about twice per month in between other games). I'm not sure how many missions there are, but we finished the first four. For the purpose of playing the game through with another person, I say 'yes', the game is worth it. I have not tried it with just computer AI.

I find the graphics to be quite good. We just finished a mission where you are on an aircraft carrier, and we found ourselves getting distracted watching the realistic waves over the side of the carrier.

My main complaint with the game is the awkward shooting feel. To me the aiming system is kind of sluggish - not nearly as fluid and effortless as you would get with one of the COD titles (I know, I'm comparing a first person system to a third person view) When bad guys run up to you it's cumbersome to get your guy turned and aimed at the right spot to hit them.

Other than that the interaction with your partner in the game is fun and a nice change of pace from other games that you play alone. It does take strategy to each carry different weapon types, and have one person go aggro to distract the enemy while the other person sneaks up behind them and takes them out. I also like being able to upgrade your weapons and 'pimp' them out.

Fun campaign really easy to beat. I played about 4 hours with my friend one day and just about beat it.
BUT the campaign SUCKS!! Laggy and boring!

good game. its better with a partner because AI sucks. it is a short game and i didnt play online so i dont know how good that is. i bought it cheap which is the reason i bought it. plus its third person which i perfer because i really dont like first person games.

The main story is way too short and some of the missions are on cutsenes and most of the actions taken are also cutsenes. most guns sound the same. theres a twist on every mission. so is there anything else. and oh hi everyone I'm a n00b here!
