Army of TWO: The 40th Day

After all the recent rumors, Electronic Arts has finally made the Army of Two sequel official: Army of Two: The 40th Day is coming this Winter.

The plot for the second entry in the series in summary:

A carefully orchestrated series of mysterious catastrophes is dragging Shanghai to the brink of ruin, and now the Army of Two must fight their way through ravaged city districts as they try to beat the odds and uncover the secret of the 40th Day.

Interestingly, EA's announcement makes absolutely no mention of the return of the widely-mocked, but heavily promoted weapons customization feature from the first game. I truly hope they haven't ditched the option to coat an AK-47 in platinum and diamonds -- that was like "My Little Pony" with heavy phallic undertones.

The game is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and PSP platforms.

I wasn't crazy about the first one... it was ok.

The new one does look pretty good so far, though.

The first one was ok, I rented it first only played thru it once. Never got around to buying it, if I remember correctly I dont think I liked the aiming or shooting set up or something.

I will probably rent this one too, if it's good maybe I will get around to buying it.
