I was really thinking of doing that, just because you get to see mored of the city, and it's more realistic. But does it take a ridiculous ammount of time to find the objective? I don't mind working for it, but I don't wanna be going in the wrong direction for 30 minutes.

It all depends, like everything else on this forum. I play about 2 hours a night and it has taken me a while to finally beat it. Now I'm going back through to finish out the achievements. So renting it for me would be pointless because I would have it for about 3 weeks before returning it.
But after you beat it, I have found myself wanting to play it again, but I think that will subside pretty quickly and I'll sell it back. Mostly after the achievements are done, though.

I agree. At about memory block 4 or 5, it started to become more like a routine. But I played it, completed it and still playing it. Although it could be boring, but it's still addictive.

Its crap. Until the end, then it gets interesting but its too bloody late then after playing through hours of climbing viewpoins, saving citizens, climbing viewpoint, picking pockets etc etc etc yada yada yada. Most repetative game ever in the history of games. Rent it.

You can always hit the back button to see the general area of the objective for things like eavesdropping, pickpocketing. Saving a citizen, interrogations, finding highpoints are east because you can either hear the person screaming or talking or see a tall as building.

ill be getting it, but my friends told me that renting it wouldnt be a bad idea either because yes after a while it does get repetitive. I played it at my friends house and loved it so im getting it. If you have any friends that have it i would suggest trying it out first.

Borrow it from a friend until you're done with it. Let him/her borrow a game that you don't play much anymore.
It works out. :P If you can stand repetitive games like Crackdown and GTA, this game can become addicting.

I'd say borrowing it from a friend is the best option (a friend that's had his/her fun with it). Otherwise, buy it, because you can't get the full experience from a weekly rental.
