I think that the ending is used to set up for a sequel that will probably take place where the first game left off. But I wouldn't have known that it was finished if I hadnt got the achievment.

Assassin's Creed was terrible. So repetitive I couldn't pick it up after the fourth assassination.

It was a good ending i thought... Ubisoft were smart to end it like that now they will have people who have bought it and will now buy the 2nd just to see what happens when they probally wouldnt of bought the 2nd one which had a diffrent assassin and diffrent job, They will most likely end the 2nd one on a good cliff hanger like the first one too so people will then buy the 3rd one simple  it was abit repeative though

Dude, I think BATMAN was toyting with our oh so clever doctor by saying that according to his rules all games with sequels suck including Halo, Gears and Vegas, 3 of the most popular titles out there!

This is a game you definitely have to play in moderation. It's not like GTA where I can play for hours on end and never get bored. If you play for more than 2 or 3 assassinations at a time, you are going to get really bored and you will really begin to notice the repetitiveness.
