Am I supposed to be stealthy?

So far ever assassination I have done has spilled out onto the streets and results in mass guard killing and citizen chaos....am I supposed to be able to be stealthy? I usually try to start that way, but then the target runs and I have no choice but to follow him....

You don't need to be, but I think it makes the game more enjoyable. I think it is somewhat hard to get a stealthy assassination. The best ones are the doctor, just watch how he moves, the guy in his library of his "castle" you can sneak along the edges then just jump down behind him, and the ship, just hang on the ship, wait for the guards to walk away, when he turns his back, attack then run like hell. make sure you kill the guards on the towers though.

The best way I find is to

Sneak up behind and assassinate him.
Run a short distance and then blend before it is discovered.
Then generally as long as your not too near the body you won't be spotted

No, it it impossible to be stealthy when performing the major assassinations and when trying to save citizens.

It really doesnt matter since you play the way you want to play. But i like to just go all out and fight 50 people at once.

A few people i managed to kill without them noticing, but most it seems impossible! But maybe i was just crap! lol

I was stealthy in most of my assassinations, its just when you try to get away, all guards are on high alert and rather then being suspicious they will just go for you straight away.

I usually went stealthy for most assassinations, then took to the rooftops when getting away back to the bureau.

Nearly impossible for me. I only stealth assassinated that doctor. Just blended the whole time. Even then i had a ton of guards who saw me and i ended up running

The only stealth one I got was the first guy.
