Assassins Creed Dead?
Anyone else feel like Assassins Creed is dying out of popularity? (just among those who have purchased it and beat it)
I personally loved the game when I first got it, but after beating it once and completing a hand full of the side projects I have no interest in playing it a second time around....anyone else have this same feeling? I mean....especially since CoD4 came out I know there is no going back for me.

It is, and IMO rightfully so. It didn't live up to the hype and there are much better games out there. With that being said, it's not a bad game, and i had fun with it, but just far too repetitive to last in popularity.

See i'm dying to play the game.. Havn't played it yet and people are all saying the same thing.. "It's repetitive" but if that's the case i won't have any problems because i did 30 laps (52 minutes) of driving round a track on forza 2, without getting bored.. And i spent 3 straight hours on viva pinata growing seeds (only came off because i had to go for my tea). Ha! anyone want to send me? =D

I've completed it, the main story anyway,
I might go back and collect all the flags and kill all the templars at some stage, but I don't think I'd be bothered playing it the full way through again.

I'm not even halfway through it and its bored me, having far too much fun on Forza and COD4. I will eventually go back and finish it though.

meh, I partly agree with you jake. It's a brand new type of game, it gives you like almost full access to your environment :O pretty amazing if you ask me.
There's always the nice thing of achievements, and if you don't like those, just get it once (or buy it) to experience the new type of gaming coming out!
And I think Assassin's Creed isn't really dead. I've personally heard about it and how awesome it was. Not like I picked it up at a store and went "What's this?".
Still, it has gone down in popularity.

To be fair, there's not a lot of games you'd see in the store and think "wtf'ing hell is this", even if it was completely and utterly shit. AC was a good enough game but it didn't live up to the hype as been said, and it is very repetitive...from the first kill to the last.
