First thoughts of Battlefield: Bad Company
Having bought this game about a week ago, and what with work committments I have only just managed to play it, once, last night.
I have only completed the first level on it so far, but for me, the graphics and the visuals looked amazing, (especially on that new TV of mine )
The bit where you run through the trench and all hell is breaking loose was simply breathtaking graphics for me.
I am not too keen on the Chase Cam yet, nor the control for running. I find myself getting stuck alot, and leaving myself exposed.
I love the way you can obliterate everything in your path, and when a wall tumbles down it does look incredibly life like.
Like I said I have only completed one mission, with a total gameplay of about an hour, but I can see myself being sucked in with this, and it taking up a lot of my time. I am also looking forward to the MP, what is this like?
Thoughts??

For me, the multiplayer is 10 fold better than the singleplayer. It didn't do it for me at all.

If you think the single player campaign is chaotic, you just wait till you start playing multiplayer. MP is so intense and there's constantly action going on around you like gunfire, sniping, explosions, vehicle combat, etc. In terms of single player, the part where you're running through the trenches like you mentioned is definately my favourite part of the entire campaign. Expect more epic scenes like that one throughout the game.

Yeah i liked the mp better, single player is ok, but mp has a better feel to it.

Gamefly is shipping this game to me. I was getting on here to look up some stuff about it, looks like I found some good opinions.
I agree with everyone that said the game is chaotic. I played the demo and every time I turned around, I died. Nothings really to fun about dying every 10.5 seconds, lol.
I like the way you have to work as a team to succeed in the matches though. I just hate how nobody on xbox live wants to play as a team. Is there a deathmatch mode or anything?
I thought the single player mode was ok, I found myself getting frustrated with it, I ran through ammunition like crazy. Is that just part of the game?

I really like this game. I hate games where the dialogue in between missions is long and boring, but the scenes in this are hilarious.
The one part where the two other guys on your team were playing Rock, Paper, Scissors had me in stitches, and then when they were teasing one of them not giving him (whatever it was) back.
It's the little subtleties like that, that make the game so complete IMO.
And I haven't even tried the MP yet

Campaign was fun, but MP is defiantly where this game succeeds.
