Bioshock 2 Launch Platfroms Still Unconfirmed
It doesn't mean much to some of you, but those who expect it to release on PS 3(or released on the same date with others) might not draw conclusions yet. So incase, anyone, was curious, here you go:

Though Take-Two has confirmed that BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams is "destined" for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the publisher has still yet to say what platforms the narrative-driven shooter sequel will hit when it launches between August and October.
In an earnings statement issued today, Take-Two Interactive again stated that BioShock 2 is due out by October 31, 2009, but listed the platforms it'll hit by then as "TBA."
The first BioShock debuted on PC and Xbox 360 in 2007, and arrived on PS3 over a year later. However, the PS3 port was not started until after the other versions released.
The advertising campaign for the the sequel, in development at 2K Marin, is now underway. The game will be featured on more than 30 magazine covers next month.

Can't they just release them all on the same date like most developers?

Well then, the question of, "can we afford to lose more money" comes. Because it costs money to delay the game for PS 3, unless they want to make a crappy version.

Where in there did it say that it would be delayed because of the PS3?

Yeah that an assumption, but everybody should know that PS 3 likes to delay games. So if let say Bioware decides to release in on 360 and PC, then don't be suprised, or if it's releasing on all consoles and pushed for mid-late 2010.

Seeing as BioShock is on the PS3, I can't see how BioShock 2 would be delayed. I'm hoping they manage to release them all on the same date.
