Screw you Gamespot! Seriously WTF!
I swear to god ever single gamespot editor except for Greg Kasavin is a retard. Especially you Jeff Gerstman! Seriously who's the guy letting this tool review games like Gears of War and Bioshock?
Give Bioshock 9.0? Are you kidding me? Clearly Jeff Gerstman is one of those guys who doesn't know how to judge a game on anything besides it combat. If Greg Kasavin had reviewed Bioshock he would have scored it much higher,because this game isn't all about Ub3R C0mBaT,it's about horror and a great storyline and atmosphere.
And it's not just Bioshock. Half-Life! Give Half-Life 1 a 9.4,and then don't even award it GOTY? Atleast the tool who reviewed Half-Life isn't working there anymore.
But it doesn't stop there. Half-Life 2! Guess what that game got? 9.2. Seriously whoever reviewed that (the asian guy i forget his name) should gtfo. You don't kow games.
They should rename Gamespot 'Greg Kasavin',since he's the only editor who knows shit at that site.

Fuck sake man I thught they would have given a lot better review than that.
Gamespot ran the first ever preview of Bioshock 2 or 3 years ago!!!!!!
A measley 9.0 for a potential candidate for GOTY?? I used to like gamespot but not anymore...

I'm insulting the editors,because they don't know what they're talking about. Notice I wasn't just bashing the Bioshock review.
Watch the video review. The first thing Jeff says is "I was sitting there trying to figure out what made this game so amazing,and I couldn't really figure it out."
Also,Bioshock won't win GOTY. They would never give it to a game that gets 9.0. The reason it's a letdown is because Bioshock is in a different league. It's the kind of game that you know will atleast get a 9,but you're waiting to see how much higher it will get. Like 9.5.

Jesus christ you people are idiots... A 9.0 is outstanding. What the fuck did you expect? A 10.0? That would mean the game is perfect in every way.
Relax. They are reviewers. Who gives a flying fuck what they review the game at? Isn't your review more important than theirs?
And I'd give Bioshock an 8.5. Half-Life got a 9.4 from Gamespot, and Bioshock isn't nearly as good as HL.

listening to gamespot reviews is about as effective as watching xplay reviews only one word comes to mind.....duh.....
