bioshock widescreen problem

noooo!!! i mean, i played the demo and never noticed, but now that i know about it it bothers me. wtf!

Bioshock releases today to virtually unanimous critical acclaim, but that doesn’t mean that the game is perfect. Some gamers have noticed an issue with Bioshock when it’s running in widescreen, and have taken it to the 2K Games forums

The image above displays the difference between the game running in widescreen and fullscreen. When running in widescreen, the area in red is simply lopped off to make the image appear to be in widescreen. This is in direct conflict with statements made by Bioshock’s lead programmer Chris Kline which noted that users would see more when playing in widescreen. Fear not however, 2K Games is aware of the issue and is looking into it.

so nobody cares that people who play bioshock on 4:3 televisions get more on their screen than those of us with widescreen? really?

Yeah, it was rushed. They should patch it soon.
