ps it's states online on the box becuase at some point there will be downloadable content for the game like additional levels etc etc...

I, like PParks, was intent on buying it but the demo didnt really do it for me. I mean, I still havent even played through the demo yet. The interest isnt there any more. I dunno why.
But all you guys saying its so good (I know the graphics are amazing anyways) make me wanna get the full game.........lol

I was very excited by Bioshock, but was also unimpressed by the demo. People have told me there is much more to see and that the demo doesn't do it justice, but I still think I'll wait, either til I get a PC upgrade or it's a bit cheaper on the 360. Would prefer it on PC though, its still an FPS afterall :P
My main issue was that I was a big fan of System Shock 2, and I was completely sold on that game after having played the demo. It may have been 7-8 years ago and a simpler time, but it truly was a disturbing, horrifying game which I found difficult to play in the dark.
I didn't get that from the Bioshock demo, and that was what I was really looking for. It certainly has atmosphere, great sound and visual design, but I dunno. If I survived a plane crash in the middle of the ocean, stumbled across a weird building, descended to the depths of the sea and encountered a utopia gone wrong, human freaks and little girls harvesting genetic material while being watched over by scary robot men, I would expect to be on the edge of my seat and jumping everytime something pounced. And that didn't happen, it just washed over me. Pun intended.
That my heart beat faster while playing Doom 3 is not a good sign for me, considering Doom is essentially System Shocks retarded second cousin. It still looks like one of if not the best game on the 360 (don't get me started on Oblivion, what a let down that was!), and I'm sure it'll have nice features and be fun to play. But I don't think anyone expecting a next next generation System Shock is going to be that enthralled. Regardless of what the demo does and doesn't show in terms of game play features, it is still essentially the first few minutes of the game, and it just didn't pull me in story-wise.

I'm not much into the RPG type games like Oblivion. Plus, I have 2 kids at home and a full time job....so I don't have tons of time to play games.

By the sheer number of "this game sucks" and "it's too short threads", I don't think I made a poor decision at all to skip it.

My sig block covers the games that I own. I have Gears and it was fun. But the game I have used the most and like the most out of everything is Forza2...without a doubt.

The only thing which is "future proof" is DEATH. Did I mention, I absolutely hate the use of the term "future proof".

Hey geniuses complaining about the "Xbox Live" claim on the packaging, they're on every game! Ever heard of achievements?
