Big Daddy's on hard

It takes me about 20 respawns (without health packs) to kill each one 1v1. It's ridiculous. This is still only the second level I think (right after I found the camera, wherever that is), so the only weapons I have are limited shotgun, very limited grenade launcher, pistol, and machine gun (but no armor piercing rounds).
plasmids I have are the lightning one forget what it's called, incinerate, and telekenis.
Any ideas? Finally killing something after it's killed you 20 times already (and a half hour has past on the same enemy) is not a very fulfilling experience. please help. also we can keep this thread productive for everyone by posting your favorite way to kill big daddys on hard without them killing you once

Well armor piercing rounds are the best way to take them down so try looking for some. That's the best way to take them down I think, then again I haven't played much.

Sorry to say psyched but I have no idea what level you're talking about. Plus I think I've missed like 3 PtP centers so I'm not the best person to help with that.

Ya,I'd have to side with King on this one Lost. At that stage all you can really do is use armor piercing rounds on them. Electrifying them in water....well....you might as well just hit em with your wrench. There's not much you can do there except mabye use telekinesis to toss some explosive barrels at em. I definitely do not recommend doing this on Rosie's past the first attack unless you're really quick about it because he'll just pop the barrel when you're holding it and cause more harm than good.
