Lost Little Sisters!

Hey guys,

I am playing through the game and trying not to harvest any Little Sisters. So far I am in Arcadia and have managed not to harvest any but I am sure I missed one in Dr Steinman's surgery area at the beginning. I know I have saved every other one since but it was early on in the game and I cant remember if I left one or not. I remember circling the whole area for ages trying to find him as I saw I had one still out there with a big daddy [on the pause screen] but I cant remember if I finished the fight or not!

Will I get a chance to go back at some point in the game and pickup where I left off? I am in Arcadia now and I really wanna save all the little sisters!

i killed a big daddy once only to find that i had no idea where the little sister went, and after i spent about 20 minutes searching realized she was just "gone". i had to restore my last save point.

maybe she just went to sleep in one of those holes and another big daddy would have eventually gotten her back out, but i wasn't going to wait around and see.

that happens to me a lot. a big daddy will just be roaming around without a little sister. so i'll follow him for a minute or so and he will start banging on the little sister hideouts (the hole in the wall things)... after a minute of banging, only one time has a little sister crawled out (kinda creepy when they crawl out)... all the other times he gives up and walks around more.

it gets frustrating because i can see i still have some sisters left, but i'm not willing to fight a big daddy unless she's right there with him.

have you guys killed a big daddy and simultaneously he kills you, then you respawn and run back to where you fought only to find the sister has vanished? happened to me a couple times

Yeah big daddies are not always protecting a little sister.

sometimes big daddies are looking for the little sister you just killed, they dont always walk around protecting.

another thing, you cant use the hypnotise on them & kill them because the girl runs away. if you want to use a big daddy to kill another big daddy to get the little girl, then you have to find one walking by himself.

if you want to go back to previous level, just use a bathsphere & you can go wherever you want. press start & it shows the status of the little sisters at the bottom of the screen.

If you do kill a Big Daddy but miss the LS just come back later.
If the LS survives the death of a Big Daddy the Big Daddy gets respawned later and if you follow him he'll hammer on one of the holes in the wall and the sister will crawl out allowing you a second go

I got stuck on one of these you see but it all worked out in the end

Not all of them have a little sister.

As long as you save before the final fight you can go back and check.

Thanks alot guys. I will go back when I find a Bathysphere next. Ive had it a few times where Little Sisters dissapear after I die and go back

no, because after you kill a big daddy, the litle sister stay crying near him.

I have run into Big Daddys that didn't have the little sisters next to them. Is it a good practice to just kill him anyways under the assumption one will appear shortly after?
