I have to agree that the Demo didn't do the game justice (and I HATE Demos like that.. have made me miss out on some really good games).
oh and a bit OT, but the COD4 beta has completely SOLD me on that game. I'm lovin it!

ANYONE who does not get this game is a failure. It's not short, unless you play on Casual and go straight to every objective. And even then it's lenghtier than you'd think. The game, considering it's a First-Person shooter, is stageringly long. It's only about half way done when you just killed the baddest mofo in town. Its story is superb, its graphics are amazing, and its audio is likewise. It mixes RPG and Shooter elements seamlessly and is one of the most innovative shooters I've played. The game is no more a rental than the Cistine Chapel was just receiving a light coat of paint to cover up the rain stains.

I'd put money on Halo 3 getting a lower average rating on metacritic than BioShock.
Bioshock truly will blow your mind and if you want to get the best out of the game, you're gonna need to rent it at least 4 or so times to get the full enjoyment.

While I wouldn't buy it due to a personal vendetta because of the scandal, I would strongly recommend a rental. The game is entertaining to say the least, but I question the ethics of the developers.

Personally I would just rent it, It gets a little repetitve and boring after a while looking around for everything...But none the less it still is a fantastic game and if your really into it then sure it's worth the $60.
