Is this any good?
Reading about Bioshock it has received pretty good reviews, but then I heard it is very much a development upon System Shock which was on the PC but was crap.
When I gte my 360 back from repair there are so many games I am considering getting, i.e. Halo 3 and FIFA, should BioShock be one of them?

It depends on why you disliked SS2 mate.
If it was due tot he fact it had allt he rpg elements you may like BS.
If it was due to the fact that you prefer straight out shooters (GRAW2 and BField) then you will not like it.
Maybe a renter for you to try though as it is heavily a marmite game.

As a gamer, you owe it to yourself to at least play Bioshock. The same could be said of classics like Ninja Gaiden (Black) and Psychonauts.

Bioshock is the best single player game I have played since Resident Evil 1.
End of, its amazing.

if you like fps games then yes, bioshock is a must play. why not rent it first?

Ya, there are mixed feelings about Bioshock. Some people aren't really into the whole single player only idea. At least rent it and give it a shot
