Yes I recommend Bioshock, its one of the best games ive played this year. Just read the reviews and they will explaing how great this game is.

Don't buy before renting. Personally, I thought the game was horrible. The guns are lackluster, hacking gets ANNOYING as heck, and if I have to hear "Welcome to the Circus of Value!" one more time I'm going to crack. I'm only about 4 hours in and I can't stand the game anymore.

why would someone buy before they rent a game?
plus, the guns arent what makes the game great, its the story, the environment, the abilities, the whole package is outstanding.

Are you telling me you rent every game before you purchase it? I think there are quite a few people who purchase a game without ever having played it first, myself included. |

If you like Halo 3 a lot, you may not like Bioshock as much. It's not like the usual FPS. I'd still recommend it though.

the game is incredible....althogh theres not much replay value...its kinda long and really imersive...graphics are top noch and music is also great...ign gave it a 9.7...in other words...yes it's worth your money  |

Then the game costs you like $7 more. I buy what I know I am going to like. Screw renting.

If he really knew what he wanted, then he wouldn't have had to post on a forum. Renting will let him decide for himself. Just because the game got great reviews doesn't mean everyone will love the game.  |
