Bioshock 2 to release in 2009
"Take-Two Interactive already announced that the hit game BioShock (PC and Xbox 360) will have its sequel, but it's already months since that announcement and we haven't heard any details about the planned BioShock 2. But now, we may have a small hint on what to expect from the BioShock sequel.
According to a source of Czech gaming site Hrej, BioShock 2 won't be a sequel in the first place. The game is purported to be already in pre-production phase, and that it is already planned to be released on Summer 2009. If the fact that BioShock 2 is actually a prequel turns out to be true, then we'll certainly have something awesome to look forward to: an in-depth look on how Rapture fell into decline."
A prequel to Bioshock is exactly what I was hoping for. Now we just have to wait a long time to play it.

A prequel to Bioshock will be amaaazing!
Hopefully they add a multiplayer so nobody can nag at them for leaving it out, but even if it doesnt have one its still going to be an awesome game. I was so captivated by that storyline and setting, Im so excited to see the establishment of Rapture

i wouldnt play bioshock's multiplayer... mainly for the same reason i wont play UT3... the characters move too damn fast and it is annoying.

Well, fast paced action is appealing to a lot of people. But I can see where youre coming from. I think Id still play it though.
