Obviously you didn't really explore Rapture, cause it is an amazing city, and would add many many hours to your playthrough.

To get all the achievements in 9 hours, you obviously didn't do them yourself (ie. without a guide) so you have only yourself to blame.

Ok so the game is short but it has amazing gameplay and graphics i wish it was longer but no game is perfect.

I went through everything, collected the diaries I could, killed every Big Daddy and captured all the Little Sisters. So for me, BioShock was a great long FPS.

Sure, if you run'n'gun while following the arrow you'll do it pretty quickly. But you're supposed to get involved in the story, explore, etc.

I searched 99% of Rapture, it was amazing. Listening to all the audio tapes adds a ton to the story. I also really enjoyed looking all the detail to the different parts of the game.

Dont just run towards the arrow, give the game some justice and become immersed. They put so much more into the game than there is just following the arrows.

exactly, if you go around and explore rapture it makes the game so much more exciting, not to mention longer. there is something new around every corner and if you take the time to explore it will make the game seem much better

Also, its almost impossible to beat the game in 9 hours and get that DLC achievement, along with all the diaries and weapons... Even with a guide, its just difficult!

When i bought this game a while back i thought that it would be one of the longest games on the 360, but in retrospect its no way near.

you can sit down on a good day and complet the full story in less than 9 hours, which yes is longer than most new FPS's SP (single player) but there are more games out there that last far longer than 18 Hours (two playthroughs)

i would like other peoples opinions on the subject.

now the games just scrap as theres no MP (as far as i know) and ive got all the acheivements so thres no point in me playing it any more, and i would rather spend my time on CoD 4 MP or Halo 3 MP
