Extra Big Daddies?

I'm not too far into the game, but it seems like there are a few extra Big Daddies, as in, not all of them have little sisters. I've gotten all of the sisters so far, but even when it says I've gotten all of them in the level, there are 1 or 2 more BDs. Is there backtracking in the game where they will have LSs with them, or are they just for fun?

Yeah, the idea is the big daddies roam mindlessly till something dies, then they pick up a little sister to take the adam, then bring back the little sister and continue roaming.

Not much point in killing them unless you need money badly.

Yeah, some of them just roam around waiting for something with adam, then they get the Little Sisters and that's when you kill them.

yea once you kill a big daddy, its sort of like they have replacement big daddies for the one you killed, but they dont have little sisters so they arent really even worth killing

I usually dont bother with them but sometimes i hypnotize them if i feel like having their help.
