problem with finding 3rd little sister on final level

ok, I've went through the game and found every little sister and rescued them all up until the 3rd in the final level. the problem is that as far as i can see, she doesn't exist!

i think the problem originated earlier on in the level where i spotted a little sister with her protective big daddy walking towards a hole and saying that she was ready for 'bet time.' - not wanting to miss the little sister before she climbed into the hole, i tried to take out the big daddy but died... if after i was dead, the little sister went into the hole, would that explain why i can't find the final little sister?

oh and i have tried following big daddies untill they bang on the holes but no-one comes out. the three logos at the bottom of the pause screen show 2 with just the girls face (meaning they have been saved) and the 3rd one is of the girl with the big daddy (meaning yet to come accross)

if ANYONE can help me, I would greatly appreciate it as I have been looking for hours!

ok... just had another try and i went into options and turned down all the volume except the speech. i then walked around hoping to hear a little sister and after a while i heard very faint distant crying. after a while i found the little sister still crying by the side of her big daddy! so i guess in the battle that i described in the previous post, that we both killed each other with our last shot!

woop woop! anybody else have this problem at any point?

lol I have never had that problem. My only problem is that I cant find all the damn audio diaries.

Lol I was wondering, because I found the sisters in this level like straight away. It was the first thing I did. And lol @ the double kill thing.
