Borderlands tips/guide

I am going to write a tip/guide on my site Buzz Gamer and I was wondering if anyone had any requests for tips/guides that want to be put in. This could be anything from leveling, quests, loot, strategy and FAQ.

Few off the top of my head:

-Do every quest in your log even if it says Trivial. You will still get cash / exp / items that will still be worthwhile for your time.

-Waypoints on your map for a quest objective are not ALWAYS the actual location. Sometimes they are more like a radius +/- 50ft. (ex. Machine gun clip in salt flats)

-Sometimes when looking for hidden objectives you need to be creative, ex. looking up on top of buildings and not just on the ground or in trash can.

-Broken Claptrap quests give +3 bag slot items. If you collect them all you get 42 slots in total & an achievement.

For the "end of level baddies": try to find cover (you can mostly find it at the entry of the arena) and don't stop firing rockets/weapons, but go for their minions first

Pick up all availible guns, frequently make stops at a store to sell them to quickly build a large sum of cash.

Money is always useful.

Keep buying ammo to complete the buying items challenge as it is an easy and quite cheap way to get experience as well as keeping you well armed.

When you have spare cash make sure you upgrade and fill all your ammo allocations so if you run out ammo for your preferred weapon and aren't near a shop you can still defend yourself with something you have picked up.

As you complete missions check if you have any others in the area that you can complete do so you don't have to keep going back, you can finish multiple missions and register completion of all of them at the same time.

If you are not using a weapon all the time sell it to keep the slot open, as you progress in the game you will always pick up something to equal or better it and there is a experience challenge for selling items as well.

Sometimes more powerful weapons are not better, reload speed and rate of fire count for a lot and the more bullets you can fire the more damage you can do.

Same goes for farming of weapons. Lots of people farm weapons from new haven because there are so many crates to go through

once farmed you can sell the items and reload giving you more crates to search

Everytime you restart the game, any lockers/bins/toilets etc are filled backup with cash/ammo it seems.
