got Cod 4

I finally got call of duty 4, and I completed the story mode on easy in 1 day, and now im trying to do it on veteran and i done the first 2 missions but im finding the mission "Charlie dont surf" very hard, as they kill you in like 2 shots, so does anyone have any tips?

also has anyone completed the New Squadron Record achievement in less than 20 seconds?

I thought there was a veteran guide around here, but I cant find it (probably because I am dumb)

and yea, a lot of us on here beat the FNG under 20 seconds, it just takes practice

Check youtube. It helps a lot in the veteran missions. And the FNG time trial just takes practice.

I did the FNG mission in 32 lol! I thought i did well haha

Call of duty 4 is a great game! and still quite active online! Good purchase!

Yeah, but its a bitch to get. Key is to sprint, be as accurate as possible to gain back a couple of seconds and for the bits with the flash grenades start throwing as you are running toward the throw point as that'll save a couple of seconds. And also luck

I tried FNG in under 20 seconds and its so hard, the quickest time that I can get is 20 seconds, but I cant get less than that, its too hard.

Yeah I have used the pistol and all the other weapon combinations and tried over 100 times its very hard.

the closest I get to it, is with the assualt rifle that you start with and the MP5 combination, so when I need to reload I just switch to the other machine gun.

Also I got the game of the year edition and I didnt get a code for the maps?

What I did to get the FNG Squadron Record is spray with the MP5 then switch to the pistol. ALWAYS sprint and you'll make it in time.

Also, if your playing veteran, just keep going prone. It makes enemies pretty much miss you 98% of the time. Always kill every enemy and then advance. Let your bots do most of the work. Move up a little bit so they move up then go hide. They'll take out 50% of the enemies.

I hate Verteran on CoD4. Did act 1 and the last level. Act 2, Safehouse and gave up.

Butttt today I tried one shot one kill and got righttt till the end and now I'm stuck in a horrible place... (Thanks to checkpoints >_>)
