How is it better, because you have to pay to play, or you have to put up with abusive 10 y/o's who think they're king shit? I pay my ISP enough.
Anyway, I don't wanna start that fight, we'd be here all day! 
At the end of the day, you have to wait and see what the finished product is like, it may have better visuals on the PS3, but a shittier frame rate. You don't know until the final product is released and they're compared side by side. Just like you said with Fight Night.
The only way to truly compare the consoles is if the use the same engine to drive the game. ID's Tech5 Engine should do that, and I think that's when we'll start to see the differences in the PS3 and Xbox.

My guess is that the difference is small enough that you wouldn't really notice unless you were looking for it. I'm hoping that the game is intense enough that I completely forget about graphics.
