Mile High Club
Finally got the achievement for beating it on veteran difficulty. The mission wasn't hard just that 1 minute to get to the checkpoint where the VIP is, feels a little on the edge. There have been worse missions for me but was just wondering if anyone else finished this?

i have finished COD2, COD3, and now COD4 all on the veteran difficulty and i still swear that this Mile High Club level is the hardest level out of all the games. I got the achievement, but i bet it took me damn near 200 tries. no joke!

yeah. on veteran difficulty it only gives you 59.9 seconds to get all the way to the VIP and to kill the terrorist. it is rough!

a massive well done to anyone who can get the mile high achievement!! ive tried a gazillion times to do it but can just about get to the end of the first floor!! i swore that it was impossible to do but ive now got new hope, knowing that others have actually managed it.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE POST YOUR TIPS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i only need the "mile high club" and "bird on the ground" to have the full 1000 points for this game so any help would be very much appreciated!!!

its all a matter of where you place your flash bangs and when to reload your gun. the MAIN thing in succeeding is to always move forward. use flash bangs and move up. don't worry about killing every single enemy. thats why you have teamates.

my flash bangs dont seem to do anything on this level....i throw them, wait for it to go off then rush round only to find all the enemy just standing there pointing their guns at me as though nothing has happened!!

^ Same here. The flash grenades don't seem to have much effect and when I run through I get slaughtered.
