A few questions
My first simple question is, how do I get the ACOG sight for my M4?
Second question is about my router speed when playing xbox live. It seems sometimes where there is a quick battle between an opponent and I, when I shoot first and I get killed, and the playback shows the opponent shooting first. Is this due to lag from my router? I know my router slows down my internet connection. So, I am wondering if it is affecting my online play with COD4.
One more note, my internet connection times out at least twice a day.
Thanks guys!!!

you get the ACOG site after you have killed a certain amount of people with the m4, or maybe its head shots. Either way, it is one or the other.

If you kill 25 people, you get the red dot, not the acog. Head shots, you get digital camo.

Yes, but there are certain levels of marksmanship. after 25, you must get 75, then 150.

Regarding the latency issue, do you mean your internet conection drops and you lose xbox live and need to sign in again?
In your router settings you will find a setting for the MTU, if you lower the value from the default value of 1500 (I have mine set to 1458) it should help with that issue.

Can anyone elaborate on this? Will this give any improved performance on a higher speed connection? Is the bottle-neck you hit using an MTU of 1500 on the local Xbox 360, XBL servers, IW servers, or the host's connection/360?
In short, the answer to teeforb's question is yes. If both players have 0 lag (impossible on networked play) and both fire at the same time then you would see both of you shoot at the same time in the replay. However, if your latency is higher than your opponents and you both fire at the same moment, the host's machine would receive the message that he fired before it would get yours. You will probably see a lot of kill-cams in multiplayer where they shoot first even tho you could swear you did. In addition, you will not see him fire until the message saying he fired goes from his Xbox, to the host's, then to you. Even if you both shot at the same time on the replay, you will still probably have seen yourself shoot first because your machine does not have to wait for that info to get to the host or other players, you see yourself shoot as soon as you pull the trigger.
