What's different about it? I am stuck at work so I can't play or DL the patch until 5.

Hmm, I don't have the ACOG scope on any of my sniper rifles now, but what does it really change?

I don't understand why people complain about paying for DLC's. All of the DLC content was created AFTER the intial game launch. So these guys worked more after the game was created to make more options for the consumer.

Yeah but if you think about it, there is no paying for dlc in pc games, and playing online is free. So its very easy to understand why people complain about paying for internet, live, the game, and then for dlc. Understand? Its quite the ordeal to put anything on live.
As for the update, is this going to fix playing with friends and having friends get booted in the party? COD4 is not friend friendly.

I view additional maps as “continuous support and/or continuous improvement" for the game, it should be included with the purchase price. Just as I expect them to fix bugs with a patch (like the one they just released) and not be charged.
An expansion pack would be a different story... but a handful of maps doesn’t seem to warrant charging extra dough.
Just my opinion.

Dat Dude i havnt seen it yet (no internet) but i think they mean the kill cam will now folow the granade , rpg, claymore, rather than the person who threw/fired/placed it in the first place.
edit
on PC the maps that are free tend to be player made ones. I dont think i can recall a game that gave me free maps made by the developers.

the new grenade kill cam shows the grenade starting with the toss, through its flight path and landing next to you and then BOOM! same goes for the grenade launcher and rpg. pretty sweet. i have yet to see an air-strike kill cam though. i'm sure it'll happen soon.

Thanks. That actually sounds bad ass. I wish they had it yesterday though because I was playing S&D on Vacant and a dude tossed a grenade out of the roof of the hangar. I saw the damn thing and it basically hit me in the face. Would have loved to see that on this new kill cam!
