How the hell you know these time totals? Can you only find these out via Live?

You can find them in the stats screen, where instead of just your frineds you can switch to global view

Yeah but you can't sort everything (ie you can sort Time Played so therefore this guy might not have played the most).

People always go on about people playing games for hours but majority of people will proberly sit in front of a tv watching some stupid show for hours but thats ok. I always get the old. "Man you are always playing games". I only play a for a hours or so here and there, but they sit in front of the tv for hours every day and think thats different and there's nothing wrong with that.

anything in extreme is unhealthy.
take, going out and getting drunk, a pretty normal thing for an 16-30 year old to do. However what do you think if a 20 year old went out every night and got so drunk every night he had to be carried home? If they did this for over 6months straight with no break then the question has to be asked if they have a problem!
take your example of watching TV, sure alot of people will sit infront of a TV for an hour or 2 in the evenings but if you see someone who barely moves outta the couch and just sit in font of junk on TV then, again they kinda have a problem. (Some Americans will think this is trite, even some english too. But there is a reason why so many people are obese)
gaming gets even more bad press for the soul reason it is often antisocial, now I am not going to go into the semantics of online socialising.
But compare sat in front of the TV with your wife/girlfriend or just friends with playing call of duty. I can almost garentee you will be less socialable while playing cod. |
