Keep in mind that you can also have a lot of success without using a silencer and still get airstrikes and helicopters and shit. I tried using them and they are nice and all, but it takes longer to kill someone because either the bullets are really inaccurate, fire rate is down, or the gun is weaker, but it takes longer to kill someone and I don't like that.

Yeah good point, but IMO it's much easier when you're not on the radar.

I notice that I tend to get into 1 on 1 situations alot and if I'm using a G36c w/ red dot scope I usually win so the silencer is not all that useful for me. I can certainly see the appeal and why people use it, it's just that I am not heavy on stealth and it's not how I play.

Silencers only work well on certain guns.

Because i dont need red dot to aid me so i either add a silencer or just use the sights themself. Or if they really are bad, maybe red dot
