yea, basically what he said. I dont like spawn protection, but how many times do you spawn right next to the enemy or on top of a grenade. I can see the grenade part being nearly impossible to fix since they can spawn u in a perfectly fine spot while the grenade is in the air and then it lands next to u a second later. However spawning right next to enemies can be fixed, no?

Well it should be simple, the spawn points are given on each map after all. It wouldn't be hard for IW to code that if there is an enemy in the spawn point it wants to put you down on, it selects a new one.

The only problem with that is small maps. On PC there could be someone near ALL spawn points, thus making respawning impossible.
