M14 bullets can be used for M40A3?
Well, I was sniping with the M40A3, someone walked into my claymore, I swapped his M14 for my deagle and had 148 bullets in my M40A3.
When I died, I did it again, but had 135 bullets.
Sorry if this is old news or something, but I never knew you could do this.

Where you been?
Some weapons have interchangable bullets. M16 and the 1st pistol (cant remember name) use the same bullets you end up gettting 1 more clip when they are paired.

Yeah, I knew you could do it with some weapons, but I didn't know you could do this with a sniper rifle.
It makes getting kill streaks easier...

Especialy if you paired it with Overkill. You'd start with more ammo.

I never knew either.
And yes, it was definitely the M40, as that's the only sniper I use.

Same with some SMG's, the mp5 when paired with the 2nd pistol i think. you get a clip or 2 more.

Yeah it's the MP5 with M9. Here's a list of all the shared ammo:

Geeze it's not rocket science, guns that are the same caliber share ammo. The M40 and the M14 are both .308(7.62x51mm NATO), just like the G3, M21, M60, M240(not the saw, the mounted) and the Remmington 700.
In the same fashion, the M9 and MP5 add together, as i suggested ages ago, because they're both 9x19mm, so is the Mini UZI. The P90 however uses its own stupid round, and the AKS-74u is an assault rifle, not an SMG, it uses 5.45x39.
Even though i listed two LMG's, they can't use other weapons' ammo and vice versa, because they're belt-fed. It's funny though, your guy can load all the ammo into different magazines, but not belts.
Schmo, you're WRONG, the M16 is 5.56x45mm, while the "first pistol" is 9x19. The M16 only shares ammo with the M249, the M4 and the G36C
Also, the link Chelsea posted is DUMB. Of course the desert eagle's and the M82's ammo don't combine, the former is .50AE(12.7x33mm), while the latter is .50BMG(12.7x99mm). That's just one of the inaccuracies, something's pretty much wrong with every line on there. I'll explain it if someone wants me to.
